Yesterday while setting up the DVD home theater I heard one of them yell some obscenities I’d rather not repeat here. He came out of his bedroom holding a notebook computer, quickly flipping it around to show me a blue screen. I’ve seen this happen to my own laptop and was able to salvage the hard drive before reinstalling the operating system to fix the problem. It was a long process but we did it after a little bit of research. I was set on finishing the DVD home theater and told him I’d look at it later. Luckily, that same friend who helped me fix my laptop is coming up to see the new place this weekend.

That means my roommates old notebook computer has a great chance of coming back to life. If not, I told him about an online store I found with serious deals on computers. The past year, notebook computers have come way down in price. It makes them less of a big purchase.
